Hi, i adore your blog, I read all of your posts! I love the one with the photos of your mother. My best friend and I recently found a whole box of coloured slides of her mother from the 60s, we blew them up and it's so amazing to see how much work went into staging photography then. and it wasn't all over when the camera clicked...
I know a little part of me feels sad every time I shoot digital. It's nice to be able to do all the things you can with digital but but it feels sometimes that it lacks the soul of film.
I found an old shoe box filled with pictures of my parents when they were young and pictures of their weeding. My mom wore turquise tiny shorts and white gogo boots, with her long brown hair...haha...she looked amazing. I love old photographs, but I love my digital camera to :)
After earning a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Elizabeth moved New York City to pursue a career in Fine Art Photography.
Elizabeth's work focuses on Southern Landscape, exploring the idea of a 'Sense of Place' and how identity is defined through the land.
